About me

Work

I am currently a data scientist at BNP Paribas CIB, based in Paris, where I am mainly working on NLP topics: LLMs, information extraction, question answering. I published several papers in this field. My main interests are: relation extraction, question answering, few/zero-shot domain adaptation. I especially have an interest in deep and complex topics, and always want to gain deep understanding of computer science or mathematics principles behind modern architectures.

In addition to my primary technical responsibilities, I also edit the internal machine learning newsletter, placing a strong emphasis on applied research. Furthermore, I lead lecture sessions aimed at fostering a culture of research within all BNP Paribas data science teams.

Last but not least, I have experience in framing technical tasks, interfacing business needs with software engineering matters and managing production applications (Docker, Kubernetes).

Education

I graduated from Télécom Paris (Data Science and Computer Vision) and the Imperial College London (Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing). My master’s thesis was about how to detect and prevent hallucinations in translation systems (Transformers).

Misc

I served as EAMT (Research: Technical Track) (2023-2024) and IEEE Transactions on Audio, Speech and Language Processing journal (2023) reviewer.
